After the Intro to Indian Music Workshop, I really wanted to introduce you all to sargam more in depth.

This workshop is more focused on practice along w some basic information about what sargam is (Indian syllables associated w musical pitches) and how to use it.

Sargam is so much fun and I’m really excited to share this w you and get to practice together! No experience necessary and if you already know sargam, this will still be a really fun opportunity to practice w it in a group setting (online).

You will learn some sargam exercises as well as a kirtan in sargam and then sing the kirtan w the lyrics as well so you can see how it is used practically.
